My friend John made the move up a few days ago and we had a nice realization about what happens when we move up stakes.
Play like fish.
I managed to drop 1k in exactly 1 hour. 5 buy-ins is quite ridiculous even in a day. I had initially set my stop loss at 3 buy-ins, but was just a weee bit too tilted to stop playing. Really though, what happened(s) is I guess when one (me in particular) moves up, the fear of getting pushed around and outplayed is a massive factor. I was making thin calls and not giving people credit at all.
After having this "ah ha" moment, I went for a jog, took a shower, ate an apple, then was ready to play again.

As you can see, I got pretty juiced up on one table which was fun. I'm just a few $ shy of breakeven and plan to be finishing that out tonight. Overall I feel I have a very solid handle on the stakes and am anticipating being at nl400 by the end of the semester.
So yeah, my HEM is still messing up but I'm having a carbon guy do a teamview sesh with me in the next day or two so I can put up some pretty graphs, lol.
Thanks for reading,
-Ben
